About Me

I am Becca, a single mother to three awesome kids and a crazy dog. I have been running The Beehive for 6 years in Ashford and have a real passion for good coffee, good customer service and small businesses. I am a leader at Pneuma Church, attend Ashford Sings! choir, love to read, redecorate my house frequently and have an ever growing collection of houseplants!

About My Project

The Beehive is a second hand women’s clothing boutique and community cafe in the heart of the town centre. But The Beehive is so much more than a shop. At the very heart of our shop is a place where women who can’t afford clothing can be referred by local services to come and get clothes for free. We are not a ‘charity’ shop, we are a place of dignity and beauty where paying customers and referred women, share the very same boutique experience. The only difference is that when the clothes are scanned into the till, our referred women’s total clocks up to £0.

The Beehive Network is a franchise business where local curches can buy in to open their own Beehive store with the support guidance and branding from head office.
