About Me

I’m Helena, a trauma-informed women’s health and fitness coach and the founder of Roar Coaching. I’m married to Derron, originally from Denmark but now live in West Yorkshire, and I’m passionate about helping busy women find freedom with food, confidence in the gym, and a more grounded, holistic approach to health. My coaching blends mindset, movement, and Jesus – meeting you where you’re at and helping you grow from there. Through Roar Coaching and my online platform the Roar Collective, I create supportive spaces for women to heal, build strength, and step into who they were made to be.

About My Project

Vox49 exists to bridge the growing disconnect between leaders and the emerging generation – a divide I first encountered in the classroom and now see echoed across workplaces. When leaders feel unheard and younger employees feel misunderstood, performance, trust and engagement quietly drain away. Vox49 helps both sides understand one another so that connection replaces frustration and teams can get back to doing their best work. Through a mix of coaching, diagnostics, team workshops and keynotes, Vox49 supports organisations in strengthening culture and retaining talent. Early partnerships have shown clear results: one company saw engagement rise by 1.4 points in six months with 90% participation after Vox49 coaching and diagnostics. Underpinning all of this is a Kingdom purpose. Disconnection often begins with offence, and offence hardens hearts. When understanding grows, offence lifts, connection forms, and workplaces become environments where people can thrive and where the gospel can take root. The vision is straightforward: leaders and young professionals fluent in a shared cultural currency, building workplaces that bring life rather than drain it.
