About Me
My name is Paul Willmott. I’m married to Vanessa, we have adult children and live in the West Midlands.
I’m self-employed as an evangelist, working in partnership with Counties and Children Worldwide. I specialise in two main areas of ministry: speaking at church-based outreach events for children and families, I also partner with churches to help them engage with primary schools.
I use puppets, juggling and storytelling to share engaging Bible messages. My goal isn’t for children to just attend church and hear cute Bible stories – I want children to become church, meeting with God and discovering faith for themselves.
About My Project
My project is called ALL ABOARD. It’s about multiplying the school work I already do in person, by making it digital and accessible nationwide.
Why does this matter? Back in 1903, around six million children were in Sunday schools. By 1998, that number had dropped to just half a million. While some churches still see great success, for many, this is a real struggle.
One of the best places to reach children today is in school. Where else can you share the transforming message of Jesus with 400 children at once? But for many vicars & church leaders, preparing and presenting a school assembly can be quite daunting and time consuming.
ALL ABOARD is designed to help. It will provide regular eight-minute assembly videos, along with follow-up material that can be used in class or during lunchtime clubs. The curriculum themed content would be delivered in school by a suitable persons form church, creating a natural and ongoing link between the church and school.
The resource does all the hard work: the video provides the message, there will also be a scripted introduction and closing prayer. Preparation becomes as simple as praying, arranging the visit, and pressing play. It saves hours of work, while opening doors for deeper relationships between church and school.
ALL ABOARD is not just another youtube channel, it equips churches to actively partner with schools.
