About My Project

Gateway Church was started in 2018 from our home (Jonny & Pamela Gios) in Kendal. Kendal is the Gateway to the Lake District which is a World Heritage site. Kendal has a population of 30,000 people and we exist to ‘Helping people find their way back to God’. We do this by Revealing God’s Truth through his word, Radiating God’s love as we Reach the lost and then by Reproduce disciples. We are part of the Free Methodist Church and align ourselves to the doctrine and values of this movement. Set Free, Living Free, Bringing Freedom

We are a small church with a big vision to see multiplication across South Lakes. As we meet together on a Sunday (which we call our gathering, not “our service” ) – we aspire to learn more about God, His Word and how that applies to our lives. We strive not to be attractional but to be relational and see discipleship and generosity flourish.
