About Me
I am Co-Founder of Coconuts along with my wife Xel. We live on the south coast with our daughters Daniele and Sybil. Family Church is our home. Our journey started on reading the words “I see a company” (2 Kings 9:17), which encouraged us to establish our first business in web design and take a course on ‘Business as Ministry’, and pointed towards our purpose with business. Our backgrounds are in Geography and transport, software development and website – this is where Coconuts has emerged. We love living on the south coast (though dream of setting up between here and the Philippines one day). We also love cake and coffee.
About My Project
Coconuts is aiming to become Portsmouth’s Premium Courier Company. We believe in a time where our streets will once again be filled with children playing and their grandparents sitting and watching (see Zechariah 8:4-6). We can be part of this heavenly vision by COnnecting COmmunities with New Urban Transport Solutions. That’s why we are Coconuts and ‘delivering paradise’. Our riders are trained to ride with compassion and compliance, we openly collaborate with local businesses, with commercial excellence and community spirit being our agenda.
Our kingdom purpose is threefold:
(1) To practically prepare for heaven on earth with our streets becoming healthy, safe and welcoming.
(2) To train our riders with a Biblical based and applied understanding of compassion so that they’re discipled and sent out as a gift to the city, with every small encounter with customers and passers by, impacting the spiritual health of our city and opening up opportunities for long term relational evangelism in very mundane spaces.
(3) To be a provider for our church and our city and pioneers in industry, ready to offer a platform for practical financial, logistics and job support and the support and salvation of many in a time of desperate need.
